Partner Privacy Policy
This policy is for service partners who use the Sazup Partner app. It explains what personal data we collect about you, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. Customers are covered by our customer Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how Casorbit Technologies Private Limited (“SazUp”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information in the Sazup Partner mobile application (Android packages com.sazup.partner and com.sazup.partners).
1. Who This Policy Is For
This policy is for service partners — the people who carry out vehicle washing and detailing jobs for SazUp customers. The Sazup Partner app is a work application and is not intended for members of the public.
If you are a SazUp customer, the policy that applies to you is at www.sazup.com/privacy-policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following personal information in the Sazup Partner app. This list is complete rather than general.
- Name — to identify you on the job board and to tell the customer who is arriving. Required.
- Email address — this is your sign-in ID for the app. Required.
- Phone number — so our operations team and the job allocator can reach you about work. Required.
- App activity — the jobs assigned to you and the status updates you record (started, completed), used to manage service delivery and calculate what you are paid. Required.
- Device notification token — so we can alert you when you are assigned a job. Optional, and only if you allow notifications.
Your account is created for you by our operations team. You do not register yourself in the app.
3. What We Do Not Collect
The Sazup Partner app requests only the notification permission. It does not collect:
- Location or GPS data of any kind, at any time
- Photographs, camera access, or files from your device
- Your contacts, call logs, or SMS messages
- Financial or payment information
- Health information
- Any advertising identifier
If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your permission first.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above only to:
- Give you access to the app and show you the jobs assigned to you;
- Notify you when work is assigned to you or changed;
- Allow our allocator to assign jobs to you;
- Tell the customer the first name of the partner who will arrive;
- Calculate amounts payable to you;
- Investigate complaints, service issues or misuse of the app;
- Keep business and tax records that we are required by law to keep.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.
5. Sharing of Information
- Customers receive your first name only, so they know who is coming to their vehicle.
- Google LLC (Firebase / Google Cloud) hosts our systems and therefore processes all of the information in Section 2 on our behalf.
- Our operations staff access it to allocate work and support you.
- Law enforcement, courts or regulators receive only what we are legally required to disclose.
We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, credit bureaus or background-check companies.
6. Where Data Is Processed
Our systems run on Google Cloud infrastructure. Your information may be stored and processed on servers located outside India, including in the United States. Where information is transferred outside India, it remains subject to this policy and to the security measures described in Section 8.
7. Retention & Deletion
We keep your personal information for as long as you work with SazUp. When you stop working with us, we disable your sign-in immediately. We retain records of jobs you completed for as long as we are required to keep business and tax records, because those are financial records of services delivered.
To delete your account and data, either email customercare@sazup.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete my account”, or ask the SazUp operations team directly. We will disable your account immediately and delete your personal information within 30 days, except records we are legally required to retain, and confirm in writing when it is done.
Requesting deletion will not affect any amount already owed to you.
8. Security
- Access to the app requires your email address and password.
- The app shows you only the jobs assigned to you. Partners with an allocator role can see all active jobs, because their role is to assign work.
- Our staff access internal systems through individually named accounts, and their actions are recorded in an audit log.
- Your access can be suspended immediately if your phone is lost or your account is misused.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please tell us immediately at customercare@sazup.com if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
9. Your Rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to:
- Provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- Delete your personal information (see Section 7);
- Tell you who we have shared your information with;
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
To make a request, contact the Grievance Officer in Section 12. We will respond within 30 days. Making a request will never affect the work you are given.
You are entitled to receive this notice in English or any language in the Eighth Schedule to the Constitution of India. Ask the Grievance Officer for a copy in your language.
10. Customer Data You Can See
For each job assigned to you, the app shows the customer’s name, phone number and service address, with buttons to call or message them and to open the location in maps. If you are an allocator, you can see this for every active job, because your role is to assign work.
You may use these details only to carry out the job assigned to you. You must not save customer numbers to your personal contacts, contact a customer after the job, or share, forward or photograph customer details. Misuse of personal data can carry legal consequences for you personally under Indian law, and will end your arrangement with SazUp.
11. Children
The Sazup Partner app is for adult service partners only. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
12. Grievance Redressal
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Grievance Officer for SazUp is:
- Grievance Officer: Krishnaprasad Balic
- Email: sazupkp@gmail.com
- Phone: +91 82962 32266
- Office Address: 8/3 1st Floor, Maruthi Nagar, Bommanahalli Rd, Maruthi Layout, Devarachikkana Halli, Bangalore, Karnataka 560076
We will acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
13. Changes to this Policy
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
